United States field photographs, 1906-1961.

Photographs presenting various mammals, birds and plants, and their habitats, as well as landscapes from Colorado and the New York City region. Some images were used as background studies for proposed halls at the Museum. Also, views of a dead leatherback turtle, of zebras at the New York Zoological Garden, and of Martha's Vineyard landscapes. Photographs were taken by Albert E. Butler. Photographs are identified.
